Stoneclaw shook his head and turned back to Risingstar. "Its alright. I can see she doesn't wish to be social." he sighed softly.

Cats come to the forest, miserable and unhappy and then they make everyone else unhappy. They expect leaders to fix that but it's harder then it sounds" Risingstar meowed, a hint of amusement in her last few words.

Risingstar sighed and sat on the bank agian, curling her tail over her paws. "Oh well, one's troubles must be faced eventually. It's my job to be there when they're ready to fight their demons."

Risingstar nodded in agreement. "Yes but I like to think every warrior we gain is an advantage to ThunderClan. All cats have something to offer, including you" she added. "And Shadowfall as well. I beleive all of my warriors are loyal. I don't doubt them or their loyalty to me."

Words drifted up to Shade's ears, almost transparent in their quietness. But thankfully she could hear them, years of training had extended her range so far that she was excellent at spying. Yes, she probably shouldn't be spying on her own clan members, but what else was there to do right now? And anyways, she wanted to hear what insults they could make about her. By now she had heard most everything, if they came up with something new it would be impressive.

Her lip curled in distaste, and her throat contracted with anger. A slight hiss nearly escaped her, but she quelled it. Hearing this made her want to be found even less. Loyal? Of course she was loyal! Maybe I'm not the nicest cat around, but when I attach myself to something, I stick with it! I'm not going to go running to some other clan with Risingstar's secrets. And anyways, I doubt she would tell me any. It's pretty clear that she doesn't like me. Shade thought sourly, her tail twitching. Fur that had risen in defiance settled back down. Claws sheathed themselves, and she let her anger simmer. Now was not the time to let it out. She still wanted to listen, and if she started yowling at Stoneclaw she wouldn't be able to do that.

Stoneclaw's eyes traveled towards a slight break in the heavy foliage and noticed the sun going down. He turned back to Risingstar and meowed, "I think we should be getting back now, the sun is setting already."
